Prada is such a sophisticated brand and it is interesting how they are able to relax that perfect image through their video lookbooks. I find it effortless and naive but not in a negative way as uncommon artworks somehow always standout.

Take My Picture | Garage Magazine
This documentary is very interesting but frightening at the same time. It highlights on today's fashion craze known as "peacoking" and the proliferation of street style photographers snapping their life away to get a shot of the best dressed bloggers, editors and buyers. Some stand by to put on a show of their own (which may give them some sort of fulfillment), and others are actually there to work. Somehow, it is scarily quite similar to the series 2 episode 2 of The Black Mirror Series. I wonder if there will be any restrictions in the future or if it will get worse.

Ascenseur pour l'échafaud
No direction, no musical partition, just pure improvisation; I idolize anyone with such creative talent. Miles David's ability to compose and play music extemporaneously is beyond extraordinary; his melodies accompanied beautifully the story of this film. If you have time to procrastinate then watch it above.

Hennes & Mauritz aka H&M (Weekday-COS-Monki-Cheap Monday) has another brand under their wings which will go live tomorrow. I'm loving the accessories more than anything else. Shoe lovers will be regaled as they will come in abundance; 200 models per year! I don't quite get the concept and identity of this brand as yet but I suppose it will grow on me with time. Some will like it, others won't ... but I feel like they have been successful in creating different brands which hit perfectly different target groups. As you transit in life you kind of move from a brand to another, you go for something more mature or relax without ever leaving H&M.
PS: Melodie Monrose looks stunning.
